We have recently spent some time in Krakow
in Poland helping to lead a small team of 16-22 year olds on a short-term
mission experience.
Near the end of our time we decided that we
should go out for a meal as a team so a couple of us went to find somewhere to
eat. We asked God where to go and He led us to a restaurant close to the centre
of town. It was a great meal and the waiter that served us was a lot of fun. We
got to talk with him quite a bit about who we were and what we were doing in
Krakow, that we were there because it is where we felt God ask us to go. At the
end of our meal he asked us to pray for him. His name was Grzegorz (or Greg in
English).
We spent some time praying for him as a
team and listening to God about whom he is and what God wanted to say to him.
We then made a large card for him and wrote and drew the things God showed us.
We then took it to the restaurant for him the next day.
It was really nice to meet him and get to
pray for him, and the team all really enjoyed the way God connected us; and
then the chance to be able to bless him. It was a really nice way to finish our
time in Poland.
